Portfolio - MTS Architectural Illumination Consultancy

 

 

Challenge

The project for an architectural illumination consultancy involved designing a proposal template for their website.  The consultancy required a website to help sell its services, to showcase its portfolio of projects and to educate clients on the benefits of architectural illumination.  The design had to be minimalist.

 

 

Solution

To keep the site design minimalist we use a simple menu bar that expands into many options once clicked.  The design is spartan and grey, using yellow to provide some contrast.  The homepage offers a running slideshow of the major projects and not much else, proving a tease to what is available inside,

 

A section focuses only on showing the numerous projects.  It is easily accessible and can be viewed and organized in may convenient ways.  We used JavaScript tabs and JavaScript slideshows to show images and different text in a simple and visually clean manner.

 

We created a special section focused only on issues dealing with educating the clients on the benefits of using architectural illumination services.  This section is easily reached from the main expandable menu.

 

 

Results

The client was happy with the proposals and this project is now moving forward to the building stage.
