Challenge
Proaccountability.net is the website for Professional ACCOUNTability bookkeeping services which is focused on serving the small business sector.
The client, a young independent minded entrepreneur, wanted the website for her services to reflect the professional competency necessary to provide bookkeeping accounting services without being too stuffy. In addition, she wanted to use the site as a vehicle to keep her clientele informed of significant events related to bookkeeping issues.
Solution
Working closely with the entrepreneur we indentified the critical items for the new site that showed her professional competency, identified the main benefits of the service and designed a layout that reflected her cosmopolitan style.
Bookkeeping in any small business is a critical part of the business and can take up precious time. With a combination of design cues and of focused content we emphasized that the main value proposition for using her service was that it frees business owners to do what they really want, to grow their business and focus on making sales.
Lastly, we connected an open source wordpress blog to the site and defined its parameters for use that where aligned with the overall business strategy.

The client was happy with the results. With its focused message, the website helped her sell her services to new clients. It showed both her technical knowledge of the business as well as her personal style.
