Challenge

The client wanted a website to help grow her yoga for children business.  The site needed to streamline the way her potential and current clients learned about all her services and classes.  In addition, she wanted the site to communicate the youthfulness and playfulness of children and to serve as a resource to educate on the long term benefits of yoga in children's development.

 

 

Solution

The website was created from scratch using colors and designs that appealed to the esthetic sense of the client and that communicated childhood's playfulness.  The sites colors, main fonts and photos create a mood of childhood. All the information necessary to know her service offering is there. General summaries of her services where added in addition to more in-depth sections.  To increase the clients credibility the use of testimonials, of technical language when required, of large set of photos of children in challenging yoga poses and of a good relevant bio. were used.

 

 

Results

The website has attracted a continuous number of relevant visitors everyday of the week.  It has allowed the client to use it as the main educational and promotinal vehicle for her business saving time and money.  Although she has literature of her business that she hands out, it is reduced in detail and size because she adds the website url on the handouts.  Clients that want more in-depth detail go to her website.  The site has also helped the client differentiate herself from other similar businesses in the area because she is one of the few with a website.  By adding the url of her site to yoga business directories the client stands out from the rest of the related businesses.  Prospective customer reading the directories have an easy way to quickly and efficiently learn more about the business in a self-service manner.
